I don't get how any opposing player can see any of our players or coaches showing arrogance or disrespect. The fans, yes, but I think that's the case with every fan base.

They are pathologically jealous/paranoid. It is rather unseemly, IMO. The game is over and done with yet they continue to lob shots at the Patriots as if they still are not convinced that they won.

Case in point: Owen Daniels lingered on the sidelines before going to the locker-room at halftime because apparently he wanted to make sure the Patriots were not "up to something"

A huge part of this is the media's portrayal of the team. Since 2007 this team has been slandered and libeled, liberally, especially over the past year. Winning so consistently because of hard work, discipline, attention to detail, talent, etc; is simply too mundane to be true. The media caters to the lowest common denominator audience's (which includes fans, former/current players, coaches, personnel, etc preferences by pumping out hit pieces on the team, which are pure mythology (e.g. that OTL doozy back in Sept. 2015).

All in all, I am not worried, because pond scum will always drift to the outer recesses of the banks, before eventually absorbing into oblivion over time.

The league under Goodell has hitherto created mountains out of molehills for all of the above "scandals".

I could try to analyze this, but it is much simpler (and more accurate) to write that the powers that be at NYJFL headquarters are not very bright, to put it mildly.
