Tonight, I hope Moss breaks the single game record for TD receptions set by Rice.

Tonight, I hope Moss breaks the single game record for recieving yards held by Flipper Anderson.

Tonight, I hope Favre breaks Bledsoe's record for single game completions.

Tonight, I hope Favre doesn't have an interception.

Tonight, I hope the Vikings prevail.

Tonight, I hope this board is filled with threads claiming that the MNF game is proof positive that the move by BB was stupid.

After that (and particularly on Oct 31) the two of them can rot in hell for all I care.

Here is the extremely optimistic outcome I am hoping for:

Moss plays excellent, Favre plays well and AP runs through around and over the Jets defense. The Sanchise throws a few picks and reverts to the marginal qb we all know he is.

After the game I hope Brett Favre is suspended for the rest of the season . Moss goes into sulk mode after having to catch passes from T. Jackson and the Vikings are forced to give the ball to AP a ton. (he's on my fantasy team)

Amen. Ideally, they go up big early and then Favre gets his ACL shredded while trying to run up the score like they did against Dallas in the play-offs last year.

Bella: I'm dreading that, but I think it'll happen. Randy will be motivated, and he's got the perfect QB to get him that contract, a QB willing to throw it up there and let him go after it. He's going to get paid after a few months with Brett, and should give Brett 10% of his new contract, which may help compensate for all the picks Brett is about to throw.

That would be good too.

And I haven't wished that upon anyone except Favre. Otherwise he might try to play until he's in his 70s. And I can't deal with another 30+ years of "retirement" talk.

I thought the Jets were going to pick Favre apart, limb to limb... UNTIL the Moss trade. Peterson and Moss are going to pose some interesting dilemmas for the Jets.

I won't root against a player just to avoid annoyances on a forum. If it's not the Moss trade, it will be the OC, or the rookies, or the busts, or the DBs etc... etc... People will always find something to knee-jerk overreact to and the sky is ALWAYS falling

The most important thing of course is Jets loss, all else is not nearly as important

As well they should! Whether Moss has a big game or not. It was one of the worst moves by the Patriots since the Assante Samuel disaster. The move was so bad I have to wonder if the Krafts were behind it not BB.

As far as having a big game...it is tough for a deep threat such as Radny to have a big game against the Jets pass rush and play. I hope he does well (to silence Felger if nothing else) but I doubt he will.
