Thought this deserved its own thread.
Good. Happy for Gordon but still presents a massive risk if you’re relying on him to stay on a good path.
Sounds like they want a WR to bring in for the long haul
Same thing I was thinking!
Adam Thielen or Julio....or Odell......or Golden Tate
Offering the pick is the easy part. What contract are we willing to give?
I like someone's idea of acquiring Emmanuel Sanders and shipping Hogan to the Texans.
I want improvements on DEFENSE though.
Possible smoke screen.
Personally I’d rather set my chips in on a pass rusher if one becomes available.
Obtaining Clowney would be insane.
A smoke screen for what
I would think there are higher priorities.
Maybe we're waiting for him to sign with a team so we can then trade for.......Dez?
A few stray thoughts about this:
I don't think it necessarily has to do with Gordon. Even if Gordon works out in the long term, we're still gonna need youth and talent at the position sooner rather than later.
This makes me wonder if the team really did have long term plans for Cooks but either couldn't pass up the 1st round pick or didn't like him as much as they expected to.
I sure hope we weren't in on Amari Cooper.
Cost roughly 5 mill, not inconceivable I think. What ways do we have to clear cap?
i trust Jay Glazer more that any other reporter in the biz. He is well respected and often gets the first crack at breaking news. I think the Patriots will take OBJ off the giants hands.
I'll be honest. If we could get Julio for a 1st round pick, (not going to happen) him helping the team would interest me less than Jerry Jones having to answer questions on trading what will almost certainly be a higher pick for Amari Cooper.
