All good, happened at basically the same time.Sorry dude. Didn’t see your post before I made mine.
NFC South was never a gimme. NO might have the best defense in the league and a real coach. Who knows about Carolina.I think the Panthers may have just witnessed how Bill manhandled Tampa's receiving corps on Sunday and decided that to get Gilmore to help them compete against the Bucs. Their offensive line is not great, but Darnold is improving and McCaffrey practiced today. They are really going all in this year, especially on defense. Suddenly the NFC south is no longer a gimme with Carolina and NO better than advertised.
Chris Carter was my favorite Pete Carroll disaster. Willie Clay was let go for him.The hyper around him from Pete was unreal and he got torched throughout the 1999 season. He’s a terrible DB that doesn’t get enough love around here.
Revis was the 11th highest paid corner in 2014. And it was only a one year deal.

Embarrassing for Gilmore. The dude signs a top-of-contract market then holds out by claiming he's injured, then he goes to another team and is miraculously healed. So he is going to play for Carolina for the $7 mil? Embarrassing. What a botch job by Bill.
I don't know know how that is embarrassing.Embarrassing for Gilmore. The dude signs a top-of-contract market then holds out by claiming he's injured, then he goes to another team and is miraculously healed.
I like Brady for all that he has done for NE.I don't get the Brady hate but I wanted him to go to GB to see why the narrative is after they still lose in the playoffs.

Yeah I don’t get that either.I don't know know how that is embarrassing.

The thing is, we need good players.Gilmore is another example of an aging vet that was given the "Bill treatment." Gilmore wants to be paid elite CB money, but Bill knows he's on the wrong side of 30. Gilmore probably took it personally as Brady did.
The talking heads must have forgot about all the key veterans Bill has let go for 2 decades.
I don’t think it was a pay cut that Brady took personally. He took a haircut for the team in some form or fashion for the two decades he was here. It was the unwillingness to give him the years he wanted.Gilmore is another example of an aging vet that was given the "Bill treatment." We only have 27M in cap room until this trade for 2022. This will give us much needed relief. We have numerous key FA. Our secondary is great without Gilly and he won’t be back next year. The thing is, we need good players.
I’d be happy with a first round OT in 2022. I’d even want to grab a FA as well, if one is available. We can’t see his full potential until the O line gets under control. He’s throwing quick dump off passes to RB’s and still getting rocked. It’s tough to watch.

Ok, then I guess I'll be alone in thinking lying about your health status and watching your team lose when you could be out there helping is embarrassing.Yeah I don’t get that either.
