We all like to read M. Kiper, McShay and other draftniks. None of those guys had to make picks for a living. I might be the world's biggest Cowboy hater. But, Gil Brandt knows his *****. Here's a link with his list.

NFL.com news: Hot 100: Top prospects hold steady heading to combine

Would love to get Mark Barron and hope like hell SF doesn't take Fletcher Cox. I think he's more of a 4-3 guy from some of his ratings. Maybe, Chandler Jones and Joe Adams in Round 2. Get a bigger wr at 94 in Juron Criner.

Gil seems to like Harrison Smith more than most, but doesn't have as much love for Hightower or Peter Konz.
He also likes Stephen Hill as the first WR after the top 6.

Some players on that list he seems a bit high on (Upshaw, Jeffery, Reiff, Randle) and others he seems a bit low on (Blackmon, Konz, Adams, Poe)

Derrick Wolfe isn't in his top 100

What I find interesting is that if the Pats picked where he has them listed they can have an amazing draft. They can get their DT, their DE/OLB with Thompson and Branch, and then since they already have a DE, "reach" just 2 picks and pick up my big CB in Minnefield. Then reach just 3 picks and get Iokea at S - Also WRs Wright, Criner, and Toon would all be available when the Pats pick in the 3rd round.

My personal top 3 picks are all available for the Pats (Cox, Marcilus, and Minnefield) if the draft feel as Brandt predicted. So I wouldn't hate it if the Draft fell EXACTLY like this.

Neither would I. Unfortunately, everyone will be smart enough not to touch Jeffery & Burfict in the first round, so at least a couple of the guys we like will be already gone.

Gil Brandt is awesome to listen to. Guy has forgotten more football then most will ever know. Love listening to his old recruiting stories of back in the day. It's funny when some of those colleges he speaks of don't even exist anymore or have merged with other schools.

Pretty good list although you can find some players you certainly don't agree with. Zac Brown in the high 20's is one that makes me scratch my head.

Yeah I left guys like Zach Brown and Nick Perry out of my 1st round because currently they are just rated all over the place... anywhere from top 20 to top 50. I see both of them as being 2nd rounders.

So Tannehill is the 7th best prospect in the draft?

Heard an interview with Brandt on the radio a couple of weeks ago. He loves Tanneyhill. I think that's way too high. But, I thought Locker, Ponder and Gabbert were reaches last year.

You are going to piss someone off on this board...

I thought the same when I saw this last night but didn't want to bring attention to it and possibly bring him in here LOL

WHAAAAT! YOU LOT TALKING LOAD OF CRAP. WHO'S GIL BRANDT ANYWAY? WHAT THE HELL DOES HE KNOW ANYWAY? I CAN PROVE THAT WOLFE IS A BETTER PASS RUSHER THAN SUH. BIG EAST IS WAY BETTER CONFERENCE THAN NFC NORTH.

Is that the guy?
