That makes sense. He doesn’t have as much pull to get rid of Gettleman like McDaniels probably would have wanted. I’m not sold on it being a great opportunity for a new head coach, but a head coach job at all would be hard for Judge to turn down right now.

This was the NFC East year of the rotation, so the Patriots won’t play the Giants in the regular season again until 2023.

The preseason games will almost definitely continue, and I guess there is always the Super Bowl.
