I often think the NFL is fixed. Not every game, but I believe some games are fixed in order to push certain story-lines. The storyline for this year is: Old Lion meets Young Lion i.e. Luck v. Manning.

This matchup allows the media to discuss (ad nauseum) Peyton v. Luck. Especially if Peyton wins MVP (which he will).

If the NFL is fixed, what does it say about our Patriots, who always win the AFCE, half the time make the Super Bowl, and have won three Lombardis in the past 11 years?

I don't know what it says. I just know that sometimes games are like watching the WWF. The Colts/Texans game reminded me of that. Most of that feeling comes from the officiating. Which is the only way you could really influence the outcome of a game.

Do I have proof?

No.

Like I said, it's just a thought.

OHHHHH YEAHHHHHH !! Not often i get a prediction right but i really really had this strong gut feeling we would be here against these Ravens ever since we lost early in the season to them. Congrats to all , and just sucks we may have lost Gronk for the season. I may start another thread { if nobody has already} whether he should have started so aggressively wide out rather than blocking for TB. Game finished here 4.am so havnt read any reactions.
