To be fair, it's proven that whichever WR the Pats pick WILL BUST - as long as BB's offensive system is employed.
So, they might have scouted and advised a great WR - but they can't change the coaching system that has caused almost every WR drafted to bust. Whether Weis, McD, OB, or Matty P - top round WR's bust. It was not the OC, it was BB's system.

So, now we have a chance to change that.

I'd like to know why this isn't the case for Demario Douglas, Deion Branch, Mitchell and Givens (Edelman was a unicorn, I don't count him).

I think Tyquan was also an attempt to. break the mold of that offense and instead extend people downfield. Pickens plays more like what you'd expect from Belichick's offense. JuJu and Tyquan bring speed, YAC and downfield play.

I've covered this a lot, so I didn't specify in that sentence that it's only high round WR's (1-3)
And Branch was the ONLY exception in 24 years. Everyone else that lasted was 4th rounders and below.

He is good.. but I love the guys we have.. Peppers, Dugger, mapu who I believe is going to be a starter next season.

Completely agree but a FS would be nice. A free safety, DE and DT in FA and all offense in the draft. Not many good offensive players in FA - the WRs in FA will be tagged.

Resign Onwenu and Duggar. Jennings and Wilson and Uche maybe.
