How tf does Shadeur Sanders have a 300yd passing game before Drake Maye
Though 300yds have been lacking from Maye's stats thus far. I have a feeling he might need a couple of those to win our next two and possibly lockup the MVP.

The Texans might be the the Toughest Team I would hate for us to face early on the AFC Playoffs. They have a very Tough Defense that can win anywhere.

What does it matter? Since when is the number of passing yards in a game a measure of who is having a good season?

Maye has 3412 passing yards in 13 games and is second in the league in total passing yards. So why does it matter?

It also gives you the second worst draft spot in every round. If you overachieved to get to the SB, vs have deep talent, that sets you back.
The better pick only gives a team a one player advantage, the first player taken. After that the team with the worst pick will be picking ahead of that team with the better pick for every pick after that and will get an extra one at the end.

Let's use the teams with picks 15 and 32. Once 15 is picked it looks like this; 32-47-64-79-96-111-128-143-160-175-192-207-224.

I know we got destroyed in 85, but it was the only thing I could hang my hat on as a kid. If we didn’t have 85, it would have been a lost decade. I will take losing more than irrelevance.
There was no shame in losing in 85. That Bears defense was incredible. When the Pats played them during the season they only crossed midfield once, on a 75 yard TD run by Craig James. In the playoffs we were the only team to score a point against them after they had two shutouts in the NFC playoffs.

Maye also got sacked 5-6 times against the Browns.

How did that game turn out?

And I remember a lot of discussion that the Pats shouldn’t haven been in the SB.

It should have been the Dolphins since they were the only team to beat the Bears in the regular season.

The Bears were a juggernaut that year. All time great team.

I was at Sully Stadium in 1988. Beautiful drive from Sudbury along RT 27 to Fox on a gorgeous NE fall day. Parked for free.
Bought a great ticket while walking thru the official parking lot.
Doug Freakin' Flutie opens the game with an 85 yard TD to Fryar. Smoked Da Bears.

There is no stat more meaningless than the 300 yard game. They don't add up yards at the end of the game and award the win to the team with the most yards, and more often than not the losing team piles up yards in the 4th quarter in a bid to get back into the game. Drake Maye proves this with the 11-2 record and no 300 yard games, while passing for more than 200 yards in every game.

Playing in a shoot-out helps. Drake hasn’t really had to play many of those. They believe in Shedeur so much they took the ball out of his hands on the GW 2-point attempt.

Schefter says Rivers - a grandfather who hadn’t played since 2020 - is going to Indy for a workout. Because RL is also hurt.

Hahahahahahahaha.

What’s crazy is he’s better than anything they currently have in-house

I'm watching MNF. Apparently the Eagles are searching for their identity.

I don't think the Patriots have that problem.

Interesting, iirc that's a former MacDaniels Fullback.
He's also bad - that free roster spot has kept him in the league a long time.
To your unspoken point though - is he better than Jack Westover? We're talking margins.

Are the Eagles searching for an identity, or just not happy with the identity they have?
