I think it has to do with QBs, too. Other than a handful, most of them are not good or are stuck on such bad teams, that it's ruining young QBs who might be good.

I wonder if their are any statistics on how many young kids are playing football compared to 20 years ago
I know some parents that have athletes for kids but wont let them play football because of concussions

Is it just me or are there a lot of bad teams this year? Like more than normal. When these Steelers are anyone's definition of a decent team, you know it's a bad year for football.

Yep. September is now extended training camp, teams don't gel until they have 3-5 games under their belt, especially young ones. We will have a much better read on who teams really are in early November.
