BASED UPON WHAT? A couple of press conferences? You’re embarrassing yourself. It’s totally meaningless. I remember how many people were head-over-heels for Brandon Staley early on in his tenure based mainly on his press conferences. How did that work out?

Based upon Glenn’s tenure in Detroit as the DC, one should not expect him to be one of the rare coaches who is able to consistently out-scheme the opposition, like Reid, McVay, Payton and Belichick.

If you asked all of the execs across the league “If you had a head coaching vacancy and only could choose between Mike Vrabel and Aaron Glenn, who would you choose?”, in my opinion the vast majority would choose Vrabel. Most importantly, who is the QB who is going to bring the Jets to the promised land? That has been proven time and time again to be the most important factor in team success.

In summary, the Pats have a better head coaching situation and a better QB situation but you are more bullish about the Jets prospects in the coming years. Sounds totally logical and well thought out.

At this point I think State is just doing a bad impression of Felger. He’s making ridiculous claims and statements just to antagonize people. If there one thing I really dislike on these boards it’s the assholes who have agendas, and bang that drum in meaningless thread after thread, and hijacking a thread about linebackers to talk about how much they hate Josh MacDaniels ( e.g…). Same thing goes for starting irrelevant thread after thread about your pet peeve, as Sam and State have been doing about Will Campbell.

They aren’t controversial takes, as there is no controversy between Simmons and Campbell, or Rattler and Maye, these are just completely ignorant ******* takes spit out purely to try and piss others off. They have no basis in reality, they are just trying to push buttons, which is what some people do when their own lives are so miserable that the only joy they can find is in trying to make others angry. In other words they are trolls, and study after study has shown that internet trolls are mentally ill, and that they do it to get away from the pain of their pathetic lives by angering others. It’s the only happiness they can find. The following is from Psychology Today, but there are hundreds, if not thousands of studies that have found the exact same thing:
