He could of marched the ownership deal Tom got from Vegas.
I doubt that's how ownership deals work. Why would Davis let him shop around like that?

I assume pieces of ownership don't come available that often so vice versa why would Brady walk away and talk to a different owner. Especially one he probably knew already wasn't planning on selling just to try and convince him at the risk of the losing the piece he was getting offered?

I doubt Kraft would have sold part of the team to Brady, he loves money too much for that, but had he done so the league would have screamed that it was all part of a scheme where they paid Brady less as a player as part of an under the table deal to bypass the salary cap. Then Jusge Goodell would have taken their first round picks, forever.

Considering Kraft has said he considered Brady like a second son, and Brady played a role in the increased value of the franchise, it would have felt natural for Kraft to allow Brady to own a small piece of the franchise.

Yeah, that's talk. Do you think Jonathan Kraft considered Brady like a brother? Nah. Family business. Period.

All of the above are valid points. I just would like Mr. Brady to have an important, ongoing role with the Patriots. I would have liked Robert and family to do whatever they could have done to make that happen. Tom is arguably, or inarguably, the most important ingredient in the team's success. Imo, it sucks that he's a Raider, sucks more that he's not a Patriot.

I HATE seeing Brady wearing f'in RAIDERS gear.. Even more than him wearing a Bucs Uni..
Kraft would have made MORE selling Brady 5% of the team and keeping him here than he has by letting Brady walk..

Kraft says a lot of things.

“He has the tools and work ethic to be as good as the best who ever played the position, Anthony Munoz.”

STOP. You don’t have to write something hyperbolic about the Jets every day. Please to ganggreen.com if you want to continue to fellate that loser franchise.
This reminds of an exchange on the old ESPN boards. I forget the players involved, but the Dolphins had signed a TE who had been mainly a backup up to that point. A Dolphins fan was trying to pump up the signing by arguing that this TE was the same height and weight as Tony Gonzalez, thus, he would be as productive as Gonzalez. I remember thinking this guy was either trolling, very dumb or both.

Before the season we should create the Caleb Williams watch thread, this will be the hot topic of the season, dude is just setup to fail. Mega bust potential.

He could have matched the Raiders deal but the NE Patriots are family owned. What you want or think is fair is completely irrelevant.
100%. It likely comes down to Kraft wanting the pats ownership to remain 100% in the family. Certainly its Kraft’s right even if we do not like it.
Giving up a piece of ownership of an nfl franchise is like giving away a license to print money

****ing Garbage. Absolute ****ing Garbage. I ****ing Hate signings like these; ****ing HATE them.

Camp body.
