They would want a first, and I wouldn’t give them one. I’m pretty sure they would want more than that, which I also wouldn’t give them.

The Patriots still need to be structuring their roster to become a serious contender in 26’-27’. And that’s if they have another offseason like this one.

Yeah, a first rounder is out of the question.

I'll give them a 1 and Chism. The whole rebuild falls apart if Maye isn't the right QB and if he is this feels like something that could make us a real contender. I'd rather have a player like Watt a year early then not at all.

Rodney being enshrined in the Chargers HoF

Harrison will now be in two different team HoF's while continuing to be stiffed by the aholes in Canton

No. You need another OT, keep the 1. You & Chism and a 2nd. Pull back Chism if they seem eager or want another late round pick instead maybe in '27. You'll fit right in with those yinzers

What is it with you and Chism? Lol

Can't believe this guy not on the list:

Sometimes I listen to draft podcasts when I’m walking my dog or working out, and the PFF Podcast with Trevor Sikkema is already going through the players they think will be highly regarded in the next draft, and I’m pretty sure he was in their early OT rankings. He’s one of the top right tackles in the country, and it’s going to be a great draft at right tackle. I would expect them to go after one to be Moses ultimate replacement.

For anyone interested in draft information the PFF Podcasts with Sikkema, and the NFL Stock Exchange podcasts, again with Sikkema, but different co hosts, are a gold mine. They do early rankings for the summer, and then follow them up in the fall and then in the pre draft.

What good is somebody like Watt when we can't stop the run well enough to force teams to throw?

Right now I'd rather pay the price for a Run-Stopper, an Outside CB, a Slot CB, a Left Tackle or a WR (or Two) such as Terry McLaurin before I would pay the price an Edge Defender, even one as impactful when the circumstances are right as he is.
Now if those holes had been filled during the free agency period before the draft like they should've been, then perhaps acquiring Watt might've been a luxury we could've afforded.

Are you really asking what good TJ Watt would do?

Regardless of agreement of your assessment of the run defense the answer is probably at least double digit sacks.
