After seeing him up close and personal last night....why am I still hearing Jaxon Dart will be a special, special player in the NFL? I saw almost nothing to say he won't be anything more than an average QB with spurts of high end play. Maybe I'm wrong, but not everyone can be Maye.
I like Boomer and just listened to his interview on WEEI this morning. He literally just said that there is lot of Maye in Dart. Accuracy, mobility, release etc.Cult of Running QBs.
A cousin organization of the Cult of Verticality.
Starts at 8:18 in the video, according to Boomer who again, I respect. So I don't know what to make of it.Other than they can both take-off, what else is similar?
Maybe send a 2nd round pick to the Steelers,Thought experiment: If the Steelers in the offseason made it known that they would consider trading Mike Tomlin, who (if anyone) might be interested and for what?
Miami?
Giants?
Arizona?

He's not the worst rookie QB I've ever seen. But he's putting bumps on his bump card like nobody's business.I have a question. I remember watching Carson Wentz in his rookie year and thinking he wasn’t going to last taking the hits he was, rather than slide or go out of bounds.Dart is going to be lucky to make it 3 years with the way he plays.
Wentz learned.. Dart seems adamant that he's not going to change.I remember watching Carson Wentz in his rookie year and thinking he wasn’t going to last taking the hits he was, rather than slide or go out of bounds.
Dart Delusion almost rivals McCarthy Mania.
