I didn't click the link, so i'm curious does Tanguay use Gordy Gronk as an example of Gronk being soft?

I don't think Gronk is soft, I mean just watch him on the field if you have doubts.

I do however think he doesn't do himself any favors when a 6'6, 265 pound TE lets his father fight his battles with the media for him on more than one occasion. It's just not a good image for a guy who's game is based on toughness and strength.

But if Tanguay is calling him soft for any other reason then I have no clue what he's talking about.

Mat Chatems pretty good along with Dan Koppen. those guys would be good, but since they wouldn't be controversial we won't see them have they're won show.

Yeah, Chatham in particular would be awesome on a Show.

I haven't heard KoppenHagen, at least: not to my Knowledge. I don't listen much, because I just can't listen to that Sewage for very long. I end up listening to little snippets, here and there, hoping to catch the occasional Guest who knows what he's talking about...or a fleeting Moment of Intelligence.

Do people realize that Tanguay is just playing a character as the contrarian? He is taking a page from Felger, but unlike Felger, he doesn't know how to tread the line of trolling local fans without turning everyone against you.

Say what you will about him, but for the most part, Felger knows the line where trolling Pats fans turns from just riling them up and shouting at him through the radio and changing the channel all together. When I hear Tanguay on the radio, I change the channel.

So basically, you're saying that these Shows are pretty much WAAF?

Because the Jetsfan who runs WEEI insists on putting him on as many shows as possible to piss off as many Patriot fans as possible, which results in many of us having to turn off the radio and TV on a really frequent basis.

That's exactly what happened to me this morning. After hearing him speak for about 30 seconds I shut the show off and switched to music. And then I was in my car hours later and gave the station another try at 2:15 and, incredibly, they were talking about Gary Tanguay and his idiotic comments. Don't they realize that they're losing listeners? He can't possibly be bringing new people in.

Tanguay also believed that #12 had a hand in deflating footballs..

About a month ago, he was on a Sunday morning talk show and was speaking about how Brady has to be on PED's to have lasted this long..

You have to be a complete lowlife to go this route. To try and save your career by lying about people is simply as low as it goes. This goes way beyond the realm of " it's just my opinion " into deliberately slandering athletes just to try and draw attention to yourself and stay relevant only by being outrageous. Although I believe Brady isn't going to file any defamation suits I would love to see him drop a 100 million dollar defamation suit on Tanguay for claiming Brady is on PED''s. You would actually be able to smell Tanguay crapping himself in Alabama if Brady went after him like that.

Agree completely. Everyone knows exactly what they are getting when they tune in Felger and Mazzarotti and its a mystery to me why anyone would give them the ratings.
