Game Day Tickets

Is it true you can go down on game day you can pick up tickets? The unused ones from the opponent

Not a certainity, but it does happen...ticket office opens at 10 on game days and you would want to be in line earlier than that.
Most often the week before the game the tickets that are returned from the opponent appear on Ticketmaster, I have gotten some really good seats that way and some not so much.
