Lol at Mariota! Honestly, I want Tenn out. They are terrible and have no chance of winning in Pittsburgh, so I rather have Jax and KC win to at least make Pittsburgh work hard next week instead of receiving a second bye.

It's not over yet, but that drive being a FG would have really helped them build positive momentum. Do they have the heart to put up another defensive stop here?

In the 1st Tenn vs Jax game, week 2?..Titans put up 37 points on the Jags.

Then they adjusted and allowed 15 in Week 17. I’ve watched that team 16 times this season since I live in this town. If you want to doubt that defense, that’s your prerogative. But they’re a damn good defense.

What I wonder: is it Mularkey’s outdated offense? Because Mariota’s decision making has absolutely ranked this year.

Can’t imagine he’s in a very creative scheme though, wonder what Josh could do if he ends up there.

I dont think that one was as much on Mariota as it looked like. Gruden has a point about terrible route distribution. If you throw into a mesh point of routes there is a good chance the pass gets picked.

Either way.. game over and most probably so is the coaching staff.. the Titans offense is abysmal given the amount of resources they put into it.

They seem like they have turned a corner after some of the embarrassing stuff in the middle of the season. The Titans aren't a playoff caliber team but should have made it a better game than this.

Mariota is in an offense where he's literally asked to be perfect. That's the margin of error he's working with. They constantly crap out awful route combos and drops the ball. Not a shocker MM is having trouble.

Anyone who says Dorsett is not doing enough and anyone can run clear out routes should take a look at whatever WR was running that decoy route that led to the pick. The turnover is more on him than on Mariota because it was just lazy running towards the end where Peters didnt need to take it serious and stopped to cover.
