Brady is too much of a class act, but I agree. I thought this past SB was so sweet because it was so long and we came so close in '07 and '11 . . . I mean really f*cking close. But another SB, especially a repeat, would be the best SB ever for me as a fan of this team and my QB. I would love to see him refuse to take the trophy from Goodell. I would love to see him refuse to even stand next to him. But again, he's too classy for that. That's why he is Tom Brady. He deserves so much more than this BS. What more can you do as an athlete to better promote the game by being excellent? Sad to see Brady enter the final years of his career this way.

I only slightly disagree in that I don't think he'll make the jokes stop. It is unfortunately part of his legacy now, like it or not. This was not initially about Brady. This was about the organization and they wanted to hurt them in the worse way. They took draft picks and it did not hurt them, so the NFL wanted to send a message this time at the behest of a lot of the other team owners. Brady got caught in the crossfire. The league is too stubborn and arrogant to say, "My bad." So they continue to try to force this man to settle and accept an absolutely baseless and horrible report to save face.

But you're right in that he will make the league pay. I think every player on that offense is going to play harder for him than they probably have before. I remember what Gronk said about Brady after that Cinci game and it will be no different. That locker room has not lost faith in the leader. Make 'em pay, Brady.

I cut the cord last week. Bought a digital antenna and Roku 3. No NFLN, ESPN, or Felger and Mazz. Free at last.
