Frustration boils over for defense

This is the most important point. The Saints offense is VERY GOOD. Remember in 2007 when we heard about the "blueprint" for stopping the Pats after they would score about 35 points.

The way they have to be beaten is get a lead and have time consuming drives by running the ball. The first int was real bad.

Was it me or did it seem TB was just really off. Some of his mechanics were like huh?[/QUOTE]
our oline couldnt protect against a 3-4 man rush. we had the same issue in the jet game but was ignored because we won/.

I think the bottom line here is that our D is not only inexperienced, but they are being asked to play a defensive style that was created for wiley old vets. It's emphasis was on being a bully, and being sound in your zones and responsibilities.

We dont have those guys anymore. What we have a is a very talented, young, fast, and extremely hard hitting D. Instead of sending them flying everywhere to the ball, we have them playing passively. We cant blitz our LB's but we can blitz Wilhite twice? IMO it was great because we no longer had to worry about him covering, but c'mon guys. The play calling and halftime adjustments have been absolutely pathetic all year long.

Once again we saw our team come out of the half and do jack ****. They became more passive, and gave up more big plays.

The coach's just did not have these guys ready.
