I'm beginning to think that Sam Bam is nothing but a troll. He *****es about everything. I wonder how many times he typed Cheatriots when he was posting on other teams' forums?

For the first time ever, I'm going to use the ignore thread function.
No, he is a PATS fan 100%.

How do you know Maye isn’t ready? His weekly reps have increased since the beginning of the season.

Why is this sudden?

Mayo basically said that Maye almost won the battle coming out of camp. They went with Jacoby and things have looked progressively worse with each week. I just don't see how this is a sudden decision.
It is certainly an ill-timed decision. But when you have incompetent team leadership, that is what you must expect. The dimwit failure to retain an experienced backup forced the timing of the decision. "Plan" my ass.

It might be a little forced. But still not sudden it was building up to this point and it was obvious to everyone.

Were the Bears or Redskins not forced into their decisions?

It was obvious that the transition was ill-managed in such a way that we would end up where we are: forced into an decision rather than retaining the option of picking the best window for Maye to start by retaining the option of putting in an experienced backup, or by starting Maye earlier in a more advantageous context than the Houston game. Tying the start of Maye's career to Brissett's inevitable collapse was tantamount to basing the decision rolling dice.

The team's coaches/GM/front office needs a rebuild every bit as much as the roster. It takes a village to build the worst team in the league, a village full of idiots. We've got one.

The Bears' and Redskins' stiuations are in no way comparable: they have a decent roster and competent team management. We have neither.

About two weeks ago, AVP said Maye's best best learning was from observing vs. playing. That suggests to me he wasn't ready and they had a plan for him. So it's hard to believe that plan culminated with him starting vs. Houston. It also is difficult for me to believe he'd be playing had Polk's foot landed inbounds and the Pats beat Miami. But Mayo says Drake gives them the best chance to win, so we'll find out if he outplays Jacoby where it counts.

The Bears and Washington weren't forced into starting their rookie QBs, those decisions were made and announced at the start of training camp.

It doesn't dismiss the fact that Jacoby is still dead last among active QB's. Also the Defense have taken some serious injury hits those guys are not coming through that door this year. Our margin for error is very thin and making a play and not making a play is critical to the success of this Team. Jacoby have had too many missed opportunities on tape which can be plainly seen by them.

The sudden decision to start Drake smacks of complete desperation and indecision.
The amateurs running this team do not have a clue how to proceed.
The fans are becoming restless and the Peppers incident makes the organization look even worse.

So they sacrifice Drake to make the bad press around Peppers (team captain no less) go away

If they were going to do this why not wait until Saturday to announce it and give Texans less time to prepare.

Mayo, Wolf, AVP are the keystone cops. I do not believe Mayo has any real authority. He is simply a figurehead.
I have lost all confidence in Kraft also.

This organization is circling the drain and will go nowhere until they bring in decisive courageous leaders who are not so concerned with pleasing the fans and making friends.
We are who they said we were !! lol it’s gonna be a tough next few years , buckle up !!

Maye might actually be ready to start his development on the field.

The line still sucks, but the schedule going forward is ridiculously easy.

I said in the offseason after the first month is when we should look to start him... that's now.
Easy ? We kinda suck right now

They've been saying one thing and doing another since they all got hired in February
