When I read the article, I thought it was possible the Cowboys fan was another 4th grader. That wouldn't make his comments right, but at least they would be understandable. After seeing it was an adult, that's just sad on a few levels.

It's fun to screw with people but really we're just going in circles. After the thing erupted I spent many hours looking at calculations from temperature, wetness, friction, blah blah blah. But it became clear that the error bars and unknowns swamped the knowns. I say the Patriot balls started at 12.5 and went to 10.5 (2.0 change), physics can only explain 1.7 at most, boom. Just proved they cheated with physics. I say they started at 13.0 and went to 11.9, boom. Just proved them innocent with physics.

Pick whatever numbers you want to go with to start and finish because nobody knows, and pick a change between 1.1 and 2.0 and you can have any conclusion you want. I'd like to think someday we will know what they started and finished at and how wet they were but it doesn't look like we ever will. I'm not sure there's anyone on earth who knows at this point. I'd like to think no evidence equals no investigation but once we entered crazy town all bets are off anyway.
