I know this is off-topic technically, but I can't find a 1 pm game thread.
Did anyone watch the Chicago-Minnesota game? ESPN calls the Bears' 23-13 defeat of the Vikings a "mauling." 4 int, one for a TD, and a safety indicate some pretty potent defense...OTOH, the Vikings did put up 348 yards of offense, including a shocking (on paper) 192 yards on the ground in a game in which they trailed the entire game. Moreover, the Bears managed a putrid 108 yards, including a rather hilarious 34 yards through the air by Grossman (who contributed his own troika of interceptions to the Viking cause), for a 1.8 ypc average.
Both teams also had an appalling number of penalties, especially the Vikes, and three fumbles were lost between them.
Now, I did not see the game, so this is all based on stats. But Chicago is simply not looking like a super bowl team anymore...
