For all the negative press out there regarding the Pats, it's refreshing to read something positive. Do yourselves a favor and stop clicking on the negative news.

“I learned more about football, being in New England, than I did in my previous 12 years,” Brown said. “It’s such a great football environment, really it was a pleasure to play there from a football perspective.”

“What I took away from Bill Cowher was the emotion of the game — ‘Punch somebody in the mouth before they punch you in the mouth, let’s overwhelm people with how hard we play,’ that type of mentality.

“Where Bill Belichick was very much ‘Let’s make the right play.’ In every single situation, there is a right play, not the athletic play, not the spectacular play, there is a right play, trying to get everyone on his team to understand what that right play is and when to pull out that right play. It is so much more a cerebral kind of football than an aggressive, overwhelm-people-kind of football.

I think this Pats team is both: they are smart enough to know their job and do their job and physical enough to punch people in the mouth. Seattle is in trouble.

And this is why BB won 3 and Cowher has one crooked SB.

When did chad brown play for us? I mostly remember him as a steeler and Seahawk

Careful now boy, you may get yourself into trouble. They might come and get their super bowl from you.

Lying cheater.

Those are some great nuggets.

Not to be snarky, but in the annals of NEP football "lore," Ed Hochuli: "There was no offensive holding penalty on the play. The defender was simply over-powered."

..... And so sadly ends any chance that Chad Brown every had at working a ESPN.

What I found so remarkable about that story was that, by and large, Brown didn't have a very successful playing career here. Injuries forced him to play mostly out of his natural position, (ILB) where he didn't have a lot of success. So for him to speak so glowingly about his playing time here really says a lot about the program as a whole. Much easier for guys like Brushi and McGinest to be positive.

I remember how awful he was against the run. He couldn't get off blocks to save his life. And still for him to recall how positive an experience it was truly does say a lot.
