Former players?

Surprised the media hasn't sought out former Pats players to discuss this yet. You'd think that if there were a noticeable difference in the way that balls felt when carrying, catching, and throwing them, that ex-Pats would have a thing or two to say on this matter. What about Brian Hoyer? It's hard to think that he, or one of our former RBs wouldn't have felt the difference.

Welker didn't leave on great terms, if I was an NFL beat reporter I'd be calling him right about now for sure.
