Honestly, I don't know what to think about the secondary. It will be different.
Training camp will be interesting.

"This secondary" to "training camp" could still change

At this point I just pencil in 12-4 and an AFCCG participant. From there it's mostly luck anyway. Would anyone be complaining about moving on from the secondary that allowed 31 points in yet another loss to the Ravens if Tom hadn't put on his big boy pants in the second half? Would that secondary above look so hopeless if Wes hadn't dropped the pass?

I am not worried ...

I think Belichick has a plan on a few players that will be here for or during training camp.

The Archbishop of Canterbury once said, "Worry is an insult to God."

My Pats fan corollary to that is: "Worrying about the Patriots is an insult to Belichick."

They were also one Lee Evans step from losing to the Ravens. That secondary was awful, and everyone knew that they were screwed when Eli got the ball back deep in his own territory needing a field goal.

2014 > that gang

Never felt that season played out the way "it should have" (I know that part is ridiculous in itself, as sports need to played on the field - not on paper). Packers were head and shoulders better and I felt, at the time, that NE was lucky to even be in the position to (1) make the SB (2) play what I thought was a weaker (in comparison to the NFC as a whole) team.

Didn't work out - but never felt that season was meant to be for the Patriots.

The defense did more or less the same in 2011 as they did in every other Super Bowl, particularly at the end.

same could be said for this years team. our steller new elite secondary still let joe flacco walk all over them.

More specifically, cornerback play. Not worried about the safeties at all. Am I worried about the cb play? Nah. Panicked might be a better adjective.
