Bedard gave the example Texans coach Bill O’Brien shared with him, that when he was coaching on the Patriots staff Tom Brady would call him in the middle of March wanting to tweak and make changes to OTA practice scripts.

Great find. Goes against the perception people like to throw out about him that he's focused on relaxing the beach and all the other things the press photographs them doing. Guessing it's going to take winning the next one to have him back off a little, and even then, I'm sure he'll continue with the same approach.

That's all stuff that flies under the radar. I remember the "body language" season...that was ridiculous.

To be fair, he did take a hiatus from winning that parking spot close to the stadium for top offseason participation. I don't doubt his drive and never will, though.

Of course I am biased, but I would be willing to bet that Tom Brady is as competitive and works just as hard as anyone in the entire league. It's this reasoning alone as to why he's shaved a full 1/10th of a second off of his 3 cone shuttle time since he came into the league.
