I love FO's stats. I know they're only stats but they show trends.

Our defense vs :
#1 WR we rank #6 defensively.
#2 WR we rank #29 defensively.
Other WR we rank #4 defensively
TE we rank #4 defensively
RB (receiving) we rank #22.

SD defense vs :

#1 WR they rank #25 defensively.
#2 WR they rank #12 defensively.
Other WR they rank #9 defensively.
TE they rank #14 defensively
RB (receiving) they rank #14.

So this means Reche is going torch the Chargers next week?

Awesome.

To me this shows about what I'd expect. Belichick excells at stoping a team's top two threats and the #1 WR, TE (and running game which isn't shown here) are often those. Then some of the extras, #2 WR, RB out of the backfield, we just do the best we can on.

The Chargers' numbers show that they aren't particularly string anywhere in the passing game defensively other than pressure.

Quick passes by Brady will nullify their rush. Many of their sacks come from situations where the other team has to throw, and SD just pins their ears back and rushs upfield.
I see 10-11 Pats receivers with catches on Sunday, Thats about everyone that can, including Vrabel.
