First Meaningless 2025 Mock

I want 1 of every of the following:

DL from Ole Miss, South Carolina and Michigan

That's probably enough to make me happy but throw in a project LT like Hollin Pierce and a skill position player that can catch and block.

Yup. I think the JETE, Saints or Raiders if they want to ensure getting a QB they like, but I doubt we get a bounty in return like we’ve seen in prior drafts.
And there's no guarantee they'd trade with us. I would think a trade with Cleveland (jump the Giants) or Jacksonville (jump the Raiders) might make more sense.

This is gonna be a fun draft because unlike most years we don’t know who’s going at #1, 2, 3. Tennessee, the Giants, and Cleveland may not like the QBs that high. It’s not like last year when everyone knew who the Bears, Washington, and Pats were taking.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I am taking Lampkin #53 on day 3 in every mock from now on.

I know, I doubt anyone tries to trade up to 4 unless Hunter or Carter are there. When I do mocks from now on, I will stick and pick most likely.
True. I’ve gotten better results in mock drafts by trading the second round pick instead of the first round pick.

I used to trade down in the 2nd but can't anymore because Jack Sawyer is right there at 38 for me so now I trade down in the 3rd with both picks. I have a lot of prospects in the 4th/5th range I really like so it works out well.

Trading out of 38 puts me out of reach to get my favorite player in the draft. I try to trade down multiple times in the 1st to get multiple 2nds. I think my guy will eventually be a 1st though.

I tried a little a experiment...

With draft 1 I kept it simple this time. No trade downs but I really would think we almost have to trade back to add some picks between 145-219. So with draft 2 I did just that and this time I missed out on Ersery but I got Green to fall to mem But look at the depth pieces that could be had later.

I don't want depth pieces. I want an All Pro like Hunter or Graham.

My problem with Hunter is that I think he legit wants to play both WR and CB. The NFL is going to be much more complex than the O or D was at Colorado. While I think he has the talent and work ethic, I don't think he will be able to do each at a super high level because of the complexities especially on the Pats. The D in Tennessee was very multiple and used confusing looks and we know McDs offense is complicated and to add onto that the gameplan will change week to week on both sides. That is a ton of info to take in and do each at a super high level.

He could probably do both on the Steelers because they do basically the same thing every week.

I did a killer mock over the weekend (I forgot to save it before I shut-off the computer for the night ) on PFN where I drafted Simmons & Ersery with my first two picks, then Seth McLaughlin at 130 and finally Lampkin at 195... Offensive Line transformation Complete.
