I can't ever remember a time when I was so relieved the offseason was finally here. The last two weeks have been like purgatory.

Peyton has his ring. So what. It's still 3-1, Brady and Pats over Manning and Colts. It still don't feel right that they are champs, but I'll get over it, and I like our chances going forward a lot better than theirs for reasons others have well stated.

You can not predict a dynasty after one win (but you can wish.) That's what Colts fans are thinking tonight.

You can not trace back to our first win, and say a dynasty was likely. But that's what we remember and hope to see again.

What you can say is, in the last year, the Colts have gone from annual punch line to rival.

I hate to say it, but this may end up being more fun than dominating the ol' blue-and-white punching bags year after year.

Congrats to Peyton for getting that ring, and getting past us to do it. You knew in your heart that if he was going to get it, that would be the right way for him to do it, and he did.

Now on to 2007. A dynasty might not be born, but a rivalry sure is.
