FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Former Alabama linebacker Jerrell Harris was in the New England Patriots locker room on Tuesday morning, where a locker has been set up for the undrafted rookie.

Harris has likely filled the team's open spot on its eight-man practice squad.

harris was one of my favorites UFAs. In his last season with bama he played very well opposite of upshaw and was very good at setting the edge. in the bcs game he doesn't let the rbs go outside.
