Final Injury Report for Week 10

This would be an awesome time to have Amendola go off for a big game.

Ugh...the bye week has brought us nothing but bad luck. Now our offense is injured, bennet Edelman hogan all questionable

It would, although he will pretty much replicate what we already have in terms of the underneath stuff. Chris Hogan has been very efficient in stretching the field, so we'd be missing that very important aspect, particularly against a defense like Seattle's.

Bennett and Jules were on the injury report before the bye week and certainly got healthier during these two weeks. We removed four players (Mitchell, Hamilton, Roberts and Valentine) from it. The patriots practice like they play so injuries can happen at any time. And the injury report is shorter than ever this season, so i dont think this bye week was bad luck at all.

It's really disappointing to be coming off a BYE week and still have guys like Hogan, Edelman, Branch and Bennett listed as questionable.

Compared to other teams and last year this is a great injury report. A couple of week-to-week things but nothing serious so far. Health is key..

obvs better stats
Obvs, indeed. Those 6 catches in the first 8 games would put him on pace for 12 on the year. We may have to wait until next season before he makes too much noise--even with an injury to Hogan.

I suppose it would depend on the gameplan, but I'd assume Amendola to get more snaps first, understanding their difference in assignments.

Fully agree. Amendola plays a different position. Lots of Dola and JE11 underneath. We'll see if Mitchell can add to his 6 catches. I like Mitchell, but he has looked slower to me on the field than his timed speed. In terms of stretching the field, Gronk and Bennett are those guys, depending on match-ups. I would add that Lewis has the speed to take routes deep (a hole in White's game as a receiver). It will be interesting to see the match-ups if Gronk and Lewis are split out. See if Pete learned anything.

Without knowing the severity of Bennett's injury, now that he has sat for two weeks, I wonder if the Pats may rest him for a game or two to ensure he is fully healed.

Possible, and I would agree, but I am skeptical. If they were going to let him heal, why haven't they done it? He's been injured for weeks. With Hogan likely out, and no reliable TE3, I don't think they suddenly decide to rest Bennett this week.

If hogan is out, our offense becomes one dimensional again. Having a deep threat to compliment a short game is crucial

I think he will play maybe not as well but he will keep Seattle's CBs in check.

Back injuries.
Normally, I'm a science & engineering guy.
Had back problems galore as a 19 yr old and on. Was immobile for a week + at a time in my 20s.
And I'm a guy who never otherwise got injured/hurt in sports.
Finally listened to wife went to chiropractor in my late 30s.
Fixed.
Do NOT buy into their theories, but every single time my back went out, it's been fixed.
No back problems and I'm a wicked geezer now.
Us engineers are pragmatists. If it works and theory is not there, we go with what works.

"Mitchell, GO!" in the words of the last SB.
Words Seattle fans probably don't want to hear, Malcolm, go"
