blank was going to put the stadium elsewhere but Atlanta magically came up with like 500 mill to help pay for the new stadium on the condition it stays in Atlanta. As for the braves venue yeah you got me.

Blank is worth over $3 billion. Why would the people of Atlanta need to help him build a stadium? WTF?

he didn't. It's no secret But Atlanta and Georgia in general have some of the most corrupt politicians. Blank wanted to move it. Atlanta and our trash politicians were not having it. Plus the stadium is gonna run close to 2 billion which would wipe out two thirds of his net worth. The rich stay rich for a reason.

You can be over confident if you want I prefer to follow my coach and respect every opponent. You'll forgive me for assuming the 8th best scoring offense of all time has a shot in the game. I posted not because I think the pats are going to lose but I want to learn about how they are going to win. Is it purely the Julio Jones show or are the falcons 4 quality WR's deep like GB in 2014?
"your" coach?

Maybe it's just me but I couldn't give less ****s about "the atmosphere" of the game. I think the Falcons are a very interesting football team and one that could put on a very entertaining game with the Pats. That's really what I care about.
the game will be less interesting, regardless of score, action, or outcome. Atlanta broke the Super Bowl by beating Green Bay. The NFL must be besides themselves.

local media pundits are saying the Giants would be more interesting...totally disagree, Atl is a much better opponent and should make for a much more exciting game.

I think he actually hates Boston. I remember him beating his chest and proclaiming how Bostonians are envious of New Yorkers.

But, hey, Boston hated him first. And he can't just leave...no other town would take his sorry ass.
I think he's the one who is envious of New Yorkers. I think he knows he's not in the same league with a Gary Myers or Mike Lupica and resents the hell out of it.

Why else would Gary Myers, otherwise the arch enemy of all things Patriot and Belichickian, go on a crusade against Goodell over the lies of Deflategate and how Brady was treated throughout the entire process and why would Shaughnessey insist that Brady was "guilty of something?" Myers is confident of his standing in the Writers' Guild and Shaughnessey isn't.

Yep. As Kanye West recently said (paraphrased), rich people don't spend their own money (in reference to backlash against him asking for a huge loan).

It is the baseball stadium that completely baffles me.

I just moved from Georgia to DC. There was a lease issue with the city on "Turner Field" (it was "Olympic funded" which translates into tax bond). Ownership and the city had some sort of contractual agreement that the city would "beautify" that area of the city (which is not exactly the best part of town; however it had been naturally gentrifying).

So either the city didn't put up any funding and infrastructure improvements they were supposed to or ownership tried to extort the same (depends who you ask - might be both) to no avail. Anyway, Cobb county offered the ownership group a massive payoff (which BTW - also taxpayer funded) to move the stadium up there at the confluence of the I-285 loop and I-75 (which BTW is already a traffic nightmare).

So money - what other reason does anyone need?

"your" coach?
Yes my coach, the man who runs my team, the guy I respect more and advise I value more then most people I have actually seen in person. I realize I am not a player that he talks to on a daily basis but the lessons he teaches are valuable for a lot more then just the football field. Do YOUR job, respect your opponent, ignore the noise. All life lessons it sounds like you should take to heart if you think the game next Sunday is going to be easy and a blowout.
