showed up on my feed this morning, but nothing anywhere else...

Looks like they have an entire site built around making up a headline and then letting AI write an article. For example, they already said he was traded to the Eagles a month ago.

Helpful. The website might even be malicous. It's certainly not genuine. Maybe nuke this thread?

There was a rumor that Watt was traded to NE too.

well greg bedard said we were looking to make a splash... i totally believe this happened...

I don't see Kyle Pitts getting traded anywhere. He was their 4th overall pick. They are probably holding out hope he lives up to his 1K rookie year in his last contract year. No team will pay what The Falcons hope to get back for him in a contract year. They are still hoping he can be that top tier TE for them.

It is a classic case of 1 team having too much skin in the game to sell him without getting back appropriate value for his potential and the other team not willing to trade more than what he is likely worth.

Considering it is his contract year... assuming they can resign him... a mid 4th is what a team be willing to pay to have the rights to him next year. The Falcons probably can't accept less than a mid 3rd.

unless Michael Penix steps up his game in Atlanta thats not happening...

That would be idiotic for Atlanta to do.

Locking this - and for the record, there are a TON of fake news sites creating these types of headlines when it comes to NFL news circulating as of late. It's not @Va_Pats_Fan 's fault, because these are absolutely everywhere and you're forced to read them in order to try and differentiate between what's real and what isn't. Which is definitely a sketchy way to do it, and they're exploiting social big time with this.

It's absolutely absurd, and no one is doing anything about it. So please be mindful that if you see something that would be considered a significant news story and it's not a credible site and a hodge-podge of letters in the site name, it's probably a bs site that's engaged in this practice. Which is annoying because they're garnering a ton of clicks and taking up space that happens to be pushing other sites - this one included - out of the results both in search and on social. Very frustrating.
