Yeah he looked he’d possibly be a nice find for a little while there. It makes me feel better about the present DT group in the sense that Butler or Shelton as the 4th DT seems like a better situation than Valentine and Anthony Johnson.

I remember when we were all clamoring for any news as to whether or not he’d return from IR a couple of years ago, like he was going to be the savior of the run defense.

The choices were Valentine or Malcolm Mitchell, and neither of them made it back.

I still think the skipper was destined to be camp fodder while Croston’s injury healed. I’ve been wrong so many times before, so this could be another, but I never really felt like the skipper was going to make it.

He could make a nice PS addition, though.

I expect Croston to be on the 53, and the skipper to be on the PS, once we acquire a swing OT.

Dontrelle Inman seems to be 20-30 catch guy. He had good QB’s (Luck, River) throwing him the ball. With no upside and no special team value, I’m guessing he doesn’t make the team. I think Jacoby Meyer makes the team ahead of him and catches 30-40 balls.
