Very surprised and disappointed that J McD and all serious Pats fans don't know that in the infamous game vs the Jete where Moe Lewis initiated the Brady Era there was a play where Vinny T went back to pass, "fumbled", Pats D recovered and we all cheered. Call on the field was reversed because of the Tuck Rule. Tuck Rule was applied elsewhere a handful of times that 2001 season. Point being it was not only a Patriots benefiting rule. In fact it likely cost them the close game vs the Jete. I was there.

And YES nothing will ever make up for the Dreith theft. Pats were perceived as Patsies for a quarter century following. Had they won that game as they should have, they'd been SB victors and the perception of the team with fans, players and future coaches would have benefited the franchise & fanbase.

I remember the exact same play by Tony Romo and the Eagles recovered and took it to the house. It was also ruled incomplete.

I never thought of the team as patsies after 76. They made it to the SB in the 80's and 90's. Then we got Bradied and look at us now.

The Raiders are one of the few franchises that a large percentage of the fan base doesn’t care what city they play in, they are Raiders fans. There’s a hell of a lot more non-Vegas based Raider fans than Vegas based

Probably cause the Raiders players know they will actually have to come in and do work now and will get the fundamentals drilled down their throats. Whenever I’ve watched them, they seem to be one of the sloppiest/penalty riddled teams in the league for a number of years.

I read that a lot of the players were hoping for Bisaccia to get the full time job, so I bet some were disappointed.

Bisaccia got screwed. He did a great job getting that team to respond after Gruden was sacked, all the way to a playoff berth. I bet McDaniels will get a chilly reception from the players.

There's a learning curve in any occupation, they're probably hoping he's learned from the past, maybe he has like BB, maybe he hasn't, we'll find out.

McDOUCHe is an AVERAGE AT BEST OC…..but top tier balloon knot sucker with his new Team…..Many analysts reviewed that play on slow speed and determined that Brady was looking at a RB and arm as coming forward to dump it when he was hit……in ANY case it was a TEXTBOOK case of the Tuck Rule and Walt stood up and called it right!!! It will be great to watch. Talented skill positions, an ok semi athletic qb he'll get killed. Undisciplined, sloppy oline. He's probably licking his lips and planning to load up with wr toys and a skat back type while ignoring the problems at ol. Spread 'em out and make the oline pass pro all day! I don't think Josh enjoyed the offense this year. Who's schedules for hard knocks this year? This has the makings of Jest levels of buffoonery.
