That was a great read. Thanks. I lived that ride Shiller is on, at least the preseason part in 1970 and 71. What's interesting is what is now a $97,000 PS job, was trumped by a $8300 teaching job back in 71. That's how little a "taxi squad' job paid. No when you were cut in those days, you were CUT, went home and got to work.
