ESPN says Big Ben's knees affected too

Crawler on ESPN said Big Ben has a broken jaw, nose, lost teeth, a 9 inch laceration on the back of his head and "severe" injuries to both knees.

I realize that could mean just bad road rash and bleeding, or something worse. It just doesn't sound good.

I, like most other Patriot fans, send out our best, and hope he's O.K.

He never seems to be anything but a good guy.

I hope this is just a short set back for him, and not career threatening.

Well, either, they changed the crawler, or I'm simply a ******, because I'm looking at it now, and it emphasizes that the knee injuries are minor. In the interest of being accurate, I must do a quick re-post.

I saw John Clayton on Sports Center at 6pm and he said that his info was that the knee injuries were not that bad - but it had yet to be confirmed. The jaw, nose, nasal cavity, teeth, and gash were confirmed by ESPN.
