Um, how about rather than Shannon Sharpe. I would rather listen to Fran Dresher talk about quantum physics rather than listen to or watch Shannon Sharpe, period.
He was valuing their youth in his argument. Our defense didn't look that great against the Giants or the Jags. They definitely need to step up today and play better-- too many missed tackles and too slow getting to players and penalties have hurt, too.

Yes, but our defense is higher rated than theirs (though I admit that turnover stat is scary: that is the key for us--don't give them free possessions).
Anyone catch the defensive strategy that the Charger player voiced to ESPN on how they were going to confuse Brady. I'm thinking, wtf, not that BB wouldn't have figured it out, but still. Can you imagine a Patriot player responding to ESPN on how they were going to play Rivers.

I've been saying it all morning...LINE UP ALL OF OUR BIG BOYS AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE with MARONEY in the backfield and run the football down their throats. That game plan "to confuse Brady" will go right out the window. Like we are coming into this game without a game plan.

Very poised, smart. I see a future in broadcasting for Lewis. He had some really good analysis of the Pats.
I also like what he said about what makes Brady so good: he is just ridiculously competitive but always thinking ahead of the defense like a chessplayer (e.g., passing to Faulk rather than one of the 'main' guys on a third down situation).
