I really question whether Dillon would have anything to offer. The guy seemed pretty used up the end of last season and I doubt he's been working out hard enough to be pressed into action right away. Maybe I'm just being a pessimist, I hate that Sammy's season is done. Anyone else out there worth a look?

Trading deadline is over, and it would have to be a trade being the Giants still own his rights.

Hmmm. Can't get Barber. Can't trrade with Oakland. Presumably Ricky Williams is also not an option....

If Dillon starts practicing now maybe he'll be in game shape by the playoffs.

There's a reason those guys retire. I wonder how many running backs have retired, and they both did, officially or not, then had successful comebacks?

They're hoping they can play with their grandkids without being wheeled around.
