If OT, isn't our 1st priority next year, I'll be shocked.

Haha you love the OL. I certainly would like to add a right tackle in the draft but can't we do that in round 2? Pm

A franchise right tackle to replace an aging injury prone collier sounds like a good bet. I think that can wait until round 2.

It sounds like trade talks about Kline have been going on for weeks, even before the cutdown to 53. It looks like Eagles were waiting to see if the Pats cut Kline. Klines greatest strength was that he could play multiple positions. He wasn't a quality starter but was an adequate back-up.

I don't know much about Rowe. Most interesting was the Pats giving up such a high conditional pick. To me it looks like a move to add depth and potential to an already strong 53 man roster. They could have kept Leblanc or Roberts and cut Kine during the roster cutdowns but they didn't. Since Leblanc and Roberts were snapped up and didn't make it to the PS, maybe BB felt he needed to add some depth.

Comments from Eric Rowe: Eagles trade cornerback Eric Rowe to Patriots

"Really from rookie year to this year, I personally think like I have gotten better in my technique, I'm getting comfortable with my press-man technique, with the deep balls I'm getting better with that technique. I really thought I played pretty well in the preseason games. So personally, I don't have anything holding me back," Rowe said Monday, prior to Tuesday's trade, "but I don't know what they're thinking upstairs. I can't control that, but nothing is really holding me back. I'm out there just really trying to compete."

I don't know what is fair, I'm just saying that its a reasonable strategy that when you have the GOAT QB who has made a career out of succeeding with lesser talents, that you spend your resources on parts of the team that he cannot elevate.
The point is to win, not to be fair to Brady, or to make his job easier.

What if that GOAT QB is 40 years old. You still expect him at 40 to be able to carry lesser talents? Should we expect a 40 year old QB to be able to do that? That's a lot to ask. Perhaps we should give an all time legend turning 40 some more help so he doesn't have to be perfect all the time for the pass to be completed. Plenty of QBs out there get much better weapons at WR than Brady, why can't Brady have nice things too?

Let's not forget he was a rookie last year guys... Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan weren't world beaters in their first years either.

At least until the super bowl

Define taller corner. Is 6-0 a taller CB? is 6-1?

Sounds like you are not considering the length and reach taller corners have an how much ground they make up with their length. Take Richard Sherman for example. Hes 6-3 . Patrick Peterson is 6-1. Also depends on the defensive style being played.

Again, it depends on the athletic ability of the CB. If the ability to cover is the same, I will take the taller player and or the player with longer arms

whats 2 inches when a player can jump 5-10 inches higher, and has 2 inch longer arms. Nothing really

I'm not sure why you feel that WRs or rbs help tom Brady win more than defensive standouts or OL.

Again if you have a mediocre QB you better spend your resources with players who can bail him out. If you have the GOAT QB why wouldn't you devote your best resources to the positions he cannot influence?

While the leaping ability is important, having a longer frame and arms not only helps with the jump balls but also batting down passes thrown at the receiver.

Huh???!!! But BB confirmed the trade on WEEI. Odd,

Ok, this makes sense. Kline does have injury issues.

BB confirming the trade as of 2 hours ago.

I know. I was siding with you. What Im saying is, your actual height can be very deceiving. If you have a great vert and long arms, its essentially no different then being 1-3 inches taller. Basically I'm saying people get lost in actual height sometimes

Weird...

The Eagles were trying to trade Kline. Wouldn't be surprised if BB said "no Kline" and will try to move him for a 6th/7th.
