Edleman leave the door (slightly) open for a return.

Maybe he wants to play for the 49ers because he always liked Jimmy better than Tom(always annoyed at Tom trying to push horrid tasting ice cream on him). Or maybe Jules just hates his coach. Lots of potential reasons why Jules return chances are only slight...
He’s obviously on the autism spectrum. Duh.

I don’t see how what he said left a door open on this season. They asked, he said probably not. How can that be interpreted as an open door?
That’s what I’m saying. I read the comments that he made and don’t see how this could be misconstrued. I didn’t see him allude to coming back in any capacity. Actually, he went the other direction and stated that he wouldn’t be able to.

This is a terribly misleading article and post.

How can a door be open (even if slightly) if the rulebook says it's 100% shut?

Little bit of an issue with the skin pigmentation though....

There are workarounds. How far is JE ready to go?

Maybe he could pass for one of the Hollisters. Just don't ever stand him next to the OTHER Hollister.

Can't wait for him to come back next season miss seeing the quick laser to the squirrel from the goat and his attitude on the field and sideline '18 is gonna be awesome finally get to see Edleman, Cooks, Gronk, and all them together on offense, right now we are 10-2 rolling and if we repeat this season the carpets already rolled for us next year

How amazing would it be if we go 19-0 and 3Peat next season and crazy part is we have a realistic shot, only team that worries me this season are the Ravens if we see them in the playoffs, playoff Ravens are always tuff but with our secondary and Offensive weapons I'm not really worried about it

We have the pieces this year and there's not doubt about it and thats with missing two of our main on O & D which is why my '18 shoes are already well laced

This thread would make Lloyd Christmas proud.

It’s going to be tough for Edelman to get back next year (forget this year) based on his age compounded by the fact that it generally takes 2 years to get “fully” back from an ACL. Look at Deion Lewis.

I think it’s reasonable to at least expect 2/3 of Edelman next year, and 2/3 of Edelman is worth its weight in gold in this offense.
