It didn't take much watching to see an obvious pattern to the play calls. They called like 4 plays over and over. It seemed like every Murray run was a sweep. Kelly will be back in college pretending he's a genius soon enough.

I still believe in Chip the coach, just not Chip the GM.

Teams have known what the other is going to run since Lombardi's Packers and the Power Sweep. Lombardi didn't give a **** if you knew or not, try to stop it.

And it's been well-documented that coaches know other coaches know their plays, their audibles, their signals, their favourite desserts. Coaches have gone on-record about these things happening since the 80s, and about how they would try to use that to their advantage in misleading opponents, so it's pretty much old news and I have no idea why it keeps coming up.

The Patriots have rolled out that 4-TE package at the goal line with motion numerous times now and given it several different looks, but the defender still needs to decide which route will be run, is it going to be the exact same one I saw on film, or are they hoping I bite on that and will run the opposite route that I think is going to happen? And much like soccer goalies in penalty shoot-outs, even if you make the right guess, that doesn't mean you make the play.

Even if you sent your entire playbook to the opposition in advance, you can still win the game by executing the plays and disguising new concepts in old formations. Or you can whine and complain because you're ****ing losers.
