Shefter just reported on NFL total access that the Saints are planning to offer the conditional pick from the Eagles to the Chargers for Donnie Edwards. Also, he said that the condition (to bump to a 3rd from a 4th) was dependent on playing time and made no mention of the contract extension condition that was in this fox article.
