I realize it's an old fashioned notion but can we maybe see if he makes the team before we go changing our time honored expressions?
In true the spirit of PatsFans prognostication I think we should be hedging our bets, leaving a path to plausible deniability available if/when Chism turns out to be just one more UDFA flash in the pan. I for one want to have a clear path to say I knew all along he was nothing or I had high hopes from the beginning depending on how it works out.

F-ton of milk too. Our feed bill back in the day probably eclipsed the budget of some small countries. And yeah, the damn washing machine hardly ever stopped running. Neither did my wife or I come to think of it. So damn quiet now it's almost surreal. OFC school will be out soon and we'll be waist deep in grandkids all summer

I agree with slowing the role on Chism. But at the same time we might not have an Efton of time to use this joke so I think we should play it out now just in case.

Back in the day T-E-A-M in my wife's book meant all of us working together to accomplish whatever the hell she said. It still sorta does, it's just these days her staff has dwindled from 'all of us' down to ancient ass me. OTOH she has adjusted her expectations accordingly. They're still higher than I'd like but they are dropping almost daily.

But now is now.

Diggs is an asset to the 2025 patriots and is being paid $20M. We can walk away after 2025 if VRABEL thinks that his choice didn't work out. Yes, there would be some dead money, essentially bonus money deferred into 2026.

So, the choice has been made for 2025. There can be a different choice for 2026.

I lived on Belmont St(Next to St. Francis)until about 70' I still have family up there, some will never move, property is worth too much $.
It's VERY different today, that's for sure.

What are these “real spirits” of which you speak? Is there something else I should be exploring beyond my existing scotch and bourbon collections?
