How funny would it be if Judon came back to NE this free agency? Wolf trades him to Atlanta for a 3rd round pick for one season and then brings him back the next season.

Judon has lost a step but still a smart and productive player.

Unfortunately he’s toast. More and more I have come to realize that players at positions that rely on speed and quickness decline rapidly after hitting 30. OL and DL, not Edge though, can keep trucking after that, but speed rules at many of the other positions, and 24 year old speed and 32 year old speed are too totally different things.

I think a one year deal for 2 million gtd with incentives to touch 10 -12 million would be a great start. It's a low ball offer but it is fair considering the situations I guess.

I’d rather use the roster spot on a young pass rusher they could develop. The more young players they can develop the better their overall roster will be when they start contending, and the more likely they can replace players they lose to free agency with guys on their roster who are ready to step in and start.
