2012 against the Colts at the end of the game when they were blowing them out. Bill for some reason sent him out there on the field goal unit. Broke his arm. He then hurt his back on a deep pass out of bounds early in the game against the Texans in the divisional round. I think that was when his Dad was starting to dislike BB.Please don't remind me. Probably the 3rd worst injury in Pats history after Brady in '08 and Gronk I forget the year.
Edwards was good and so were the Pats.
That f'n injury changed all that. He was never the same. **** the Pro Bowl.
We'll never know how Edwards would've done, but what we do know was that the OL was awful in 1999 in both run blocking and pass protection. Had Edwards not gotten injured, he may have been just enough for the Pats to squeak in the playoffs which may have saved Carroll's job.
