Edwards was good and so were the Pats.
That f'n injury changed all that. He was never the same. **** the Pro Bowl.

He then hurt his back on a deep pass out of bounds early in the game against the Texans in the divisional round. I think that was when his Dad was starting to dislike BB.

We'll never know how Edwards would've done, but what we do know was that the OL was awful in 1999 in both run blocking and pass protection. Had Edwards not gotten injured, he may have been just enough for the Pats to squeak in the playoffs which may have saved Carroll's job.

The advantage I see is that he will be able to get to know some really good players and maybe down the road some of those players will want to sign with the Patriots because they will want to play with Drake

Watching Maye hit Jamar Chase with a bomb would indicate a type of WR that the Pats need.

Not ideal for Maye, was hoping he would have a good Pro Bowl experience. He was the worst of the QBs at the game, came in last in the accuracy competition, and then ****ty during the game. Certainly not what you want if you are trying to entice free agents at the game.

Just red flags that is all, perhaps I should revise to say yellow flags. It was striking how the rest were so accurate and he was all over the place in Thursday’s skills event. It does not mean much but Mac was also atrocious in the skill competition. Mac was worse than Maye by the way so maybe…
