This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

I hope a bad postseason game (knock on wood) does not change the perception of him. It has happened to every great QB. This is a first for him and most of these guys.

Why are you being so pessimistic?

He's fkn ready, vrabes made sure.
He's Good guys, it's just whether the offense does the right **** to make it happen.

IMHO, NO game is too big for Maye. Doesn't mean he can't have a couple miscommunications, some unforeseen pressure and turn the ball over and lose a playoff game. Just much more unlikely with him than just about any other QB.

If he loses then non-Patriots fans will have a "perception" and will talk about it (Look what Stafford did vs Maye etc.). So what?
Maye is a perennial MVP candidate for the next decade. Patriots are Super Bowl contenders for the next decade.
The rest of fans are jealous and mad about that.

GREAT READ, Thanks,

I wonder if they film these and Josh & Downing get to see it afterwards so they are truly all on same page?

I don’t recall hearing TB doing it separate from coaches or on Sat like this. Wonder if that suggestion was an innovation Josh brought with him from one of his failed HC experiments.

Article gave credit to both Josh and Vrabes. Could’ve been either or both, they both got to see how Brady handled his business.

I thought it was a good read. Didn’t line the word choice calling Hollins “abrasive”. Being assertive is not the same as being abrasive, and the example given was the former without being the latter. Made me wonder what agenda the author might have to cause him to write such a poison pen passage?

TBF I believe he was using abrasive to refer to the shouts, not Hollins himself.

He had a great second half.

He definitely improved.

Areas of improvement: recognizing pressure. Take the sack or throw it away. But asking him to be great at everything is unrealistic for any QB.

I just don’t see shouting to call for the ball as being abrasive. It’s a pejorative term, and the quality of the rest of his writing leads me to believe it was an intentional choice of wording. That’s why I suspect an agenda.

Without the fumbles i felt like it would’ve been a superb outing. I don’t really hold the int on him, but hes gotta protect the ball better when a rusher has him. Sacks are better than fumbles. Other than those 2 plays though he got whatever was there and made some big plays with his legs, overall fine game.

He learns quick though, the last time he did this was the Steeler game and i think he went the next 4 games without a turnover.

Yeah the int was just was just a Great text book Play by the D-Linemem. But the Fumbles were a little careless gotta clean that up. We can't leave points on the Field in scoring territory: Andy could have had two more kicks.

With both fumbles he got jostled, could have wrapped up and taken the sack, and still tried to make a throw which led to the fumbles. He was doing that same thing last year. Can't do that in a tight playoff game.

Yep, he did that against Pittsburgh too this year and perhaps Atlanta, id have to go rewatch that fumble- i seem to remember it was very avoidable. But you know he’ll remember these fumbles last night, that seems to be another area where he excels is bouncing back from his mistakes.

Game of centimeters..

The Fourth Down Play against the Ravens to Diggs was very similar too: just missed the Defenders finger tips. A little Higher next time Maye.
