Disagree with this entirely. My favorite Brady years, and the ones I think were most successful, were the one Brady was elevating guys no one else wanted. Years you hear "and now Brady just hit his 10th different receiver" because it means your QB is reading the entire field and taking what is being given. The major perk of having a top 10 QB is you DON'T have to spend your money on weapons you can put it into the rest of the team and be balanced to beat every kind of team you face. I'd hate to be the Bengals because having to win every game 35-31, eventually in the playoffs you run into a team that holds you in the 20's and you are going home. IMO to be a champion you have to have the kind of team that can win a shootout AND a rock fight. That means having an Elite Defense with good depth, which costs money, and counting on your Top QB to make average weapons better then they are. Don't get me wrong 2007 with Moss was fun but early Brady who didn't have to throw 10 times a game to Moss were harder to shut down in gotta have it moments.
