What he is doing is remarkable. He has progressed to a point that I thought he might be in week 10 or 12. He looks different playing QB than Williams, or even Daniels does. He look like a legit NFL QB with superstar potential. It would blow peoples minds if the Pats now have their Steve Young for the next 15 plus years.

I already mentioned the guy I want in the draft, the next Creed Humphries...dude on the Florida Gators. Edge rusher with the 1rst. Slaughter with the 2nd, linebacker with the 3rd and I'll be happy!

I think Josh Allen’s first 2 years were a bit of a struggle (not so bad year 2). He really came into his own year 3 when Diggs joined the team.

I agree. Modern QB's are running and taking more hits. It will be interesting to see if they can turn into a pocket passer or just retire earlier than QB's of previous generations.

I think Rodgers is a good example of a QB who became more of a pocket passer after he was no longer effective as a runner.

Brady and Gronk leaving and Edelman being a shell of himself had a lot more to do with it. Timing was Allen's best friend.

Drake Maye is elevating everyone around him—that’s what stands out most. Week 1 was basically his preseason, just shaking off the rust, but since then he’s been a top-five quarterback every week in my eyes. You can see the players feeding off his confidence and composure; he’s not just fitting in, he’s making the whole offense sharper

Drake is making me believe again. That’s the beauty of it all. Even early on this year - the team was floundering and I wondered where they were headed.

Now ? Sure, there is still a lot to iron out. But I didn’t see 4-2 and I didn’t see Maye being this good so early on this season.

Take Lamar off the list if you want to win in the playoffs.

The Bills window has probably closed… though they might reboot the defense this offseason.

Mahomes is still the same QB, his team isn’t quite as good and it’s a team sport. The same way Daniel Jones hasn’t miraculously improved, Mahomes hasn’t gotten worse.

I’m not trading Maye for any of them, and I’m not sure his stats won’t look the best of any QB by season’s end assuming health and quality of team around him. His age and ability to improve still makes him the guy.
