Ooooh, nice, the Patriots "win" the tiebreaker due to that pansy schedule the Seahawks have. When you look at all the similar records that could mean several spots higher regardless of the record Seattle has.

Go San Fransisco

Wow with a little luck we could actually jump up into the teens with that pick. 9-7 could end up in the 15-17 range.

Unfortunately no playoff team can be ahead of a non playoff team so even if Seattle was 8-8 we would be no better than #21.

The way I understand the rule, that's not true:

[T]eams are placed in order from lowest winning percentage to the highest. . . . If a playoff and non-playoff team end the season with the same winning percentage, the non-playoff team selects before the playoff team regardless of strength of schedule.

In other words, if team X makes the playoffs at 8-8, team Y misses the playoffs at 8-8, and team Z misses the playoffs at 9-7, the draft order should be Y-X-Z.

Well I'll be damned. It's unlikely to help us much at all but you never know . . .
